Overland Cafe was a great find! Solid brunch menu and $4.99 bottomless mimosas with your meal! Phenomenal place. A bit noisy back where we were sitting, but otherwise a great experience.

It's often busy, so we mostly get takeout. We have over enjoyed their unlimited Champaign brunch as well. The prices are good. You can park in back, or nearby, but you may have to circle once. The Eggs are good. It's on Overland at Charnock, across from a Liquor store.

I didn't even expect this cafe to be all that and that they would even serve food or dessert from the way it looks while passing by.
My buddy lives right off of Venice and I picked him up, not having a plan of what to do.
We weren't in the mood to have drinks so bars/lounges were out the picture, so we decided to find a coffee house or some sort.
He remembered seeing a cafe right in the area so we drove by, kinda skeptic at first. It was a bit late on a Monday night, so we just gave it a shot instead of driving elsewhere.
I was surprised by how big it was inside and from the outside, you wouldn't even expect anyone to be inside at all. We came in and got seated and the waitress brought out the menus and what not.
My buddy was starving so he ordered a huge burger and I had just came from an AYCE Korean BBQ spot so I got dessert. Ordered a cheesecake with a hot tea to wash it down.
:P
The burger my buddy ordered looked pretty bomb, the patty appeared to be juicy and it was definitely enough to stuff you up, heh. My friend appeared to be enjoying it.
The cheesecake I got was decent.
Wasn't bomb or anything but was acceptable to satisfy a sweet-tooth! I didn't know how I was able to stuff that down after having Korean BBQ less than an hour prior to coming here!
Overall, the experience here was cool. Our waitress was very kind.
Maybe next time I will have to try their weekend champagne special.
:P

No lie! Eat their deliciousness and experience proper fat 'chips'. Turkey, beef, both are huge, filling & tasty. I recommend the beef & blue cheese or the turkey with grilled onions & aioli.
Lines out the door on the weekend for the $4.99 all-you-can-drink champagne brunch as well.
