never again

the attitude of staff alone is enough not to go back. i can overlook the fact that there is no ac, but the way i was treated from the start can not. after a month of looking forward to a concert, then a 2 hour car ride to the venue, i had not anticipated on being thrown out by the collar in the first thirty minutes. the door-staff was rude from the moment i walked in. all i did was ask if we had to get your hand stamped to get back in. instead of informing me of a smoking section in back, i was treated harshly and was told the only way i could get back in was if i buy some merchandise. then when i asked why the man was being rude, i was escorted out of the building even more harshly. i do not recommend this establishment. it has a long way to becoming what it could be. A change of staff and some air condition would be a good start. People like to be treated with respect. i found none at ground zero

the cheapest drinks in the upstate

for fans of metal , punk , electronic or whatever . not trying to be a booty shack, a music venue for fans of extreme or underground music , multiple stages , outdoor area .... bands from incubus to slayer to david allan coe to Dj Icey have all played the legendary stage . everyone is welcome regardless of style (except wife beaters and gold chains)

Schweet

-Awesome music. Awesome atmosphere. The greatest thing in spartanburg by far.

-Has freekin awesome concerts, big name bands come sometimes, but mostly ground zero supports the local scene which is awesome in itself.

-Hardly ANY fights, or negative energy.
(Any time I've went)
-Cheap booze.

I give it an A.
