Located in the heart of Northgate and across from Texas A&M, Fitzwilly's is an Aggie Tradition. You can play pool upstairs, or sit downstairs in their ample bar area. They have great food during the day. Fitz's has one of the best chicken salads I have ever eaten- and it is at a good price. They also have wings and other finger foods. Try their cheese fries or stuffed jalapenos. There is a huge bar downstairs. If you go in the back, there is a large outdoor patio and sometimes there is a band or other musician playing outside. Fitzwilly's is a great place to watch the game or hang out with friends. There are also usually some kind of drink special. The only problem is parking- there is just not enough parking in Northgate and sometimes you have to either pay to park, or be prepared to walk, especially since they have made a real effort to develop Northgate. Although this has improved the area and made it a lot nicer (you no longer have to park in a dirt and mud parking lot with huge pot holes), but there is not as much parking. Overall, check out Fitzwilly's for a nice night out with friends if you are ever in College Station.
