hands down little peking is the best place in town to find vegetarian chinese food. the other review said something about the some of the sauces...the family that owns this restaurant will make anything on the menu vegan if you request it. they use a wheat product called seitan that has the best texture out of any other meat substitute ive tried.
WAY BETTER THAN AU LAC INCLUDING SERVICE THAT ROCKS! their food is so delicious even my meat grubbing boyfriend will get down on the vegetarian menu
dont eat too much of it, it is irresistible but can lead to a peking hangover i.e.
at least 2 hours of sleep required before remobilization :D

First off, this place is fairly large for a Veg restaurant, now not only do they serve Veg, but also stuff for those who eat meat. Quite diverse? Maybe, except that CAN be a problem. Some of their "Veg" food contains fish/oyster sauce. That is a NO NO! Be sure to ask and make sure. Also, the texture is real, since they use tempeh *I think* it has a different taste and feel. It isn't too bad, except I've been there twice, and after every time I've had it. I haven't felt good, either vomited or weird stomach issues. So, I probably won't be going back.
